As Cathy mentioned in her most recent post, we saw a very impressive nakshi kantha tapestry from the collection of the Embroiders Guild of America (EGA) that was designed by Surayia and made by women of the Widows Project in Tongi, Bangladesh. The EGA’s curator has kindly given us permission to post a photo that we took. Many thanks!
