dinner with surayia’s children

Len and I had a wonderful evening recently in Toronto where we were able to have dinner with Surayia’s son, Saif, and daughter, Sofia, as well as Sofia’s husband Mahmud.  Two of Sofia and Mahmud’s daughters  were there as well.

Sofia made a delicious Bangladeshi meal and we had a chance to talk with the family members at length about their memories of Surayia and growing up in Dhaka.  We were able to show them on a big screen our revised fundraising trailer which is now available on Vimeo, a great place to share films, as we have discovered thanks to our editor Rita Meher.

It was so good to see Saif and Sofia in person again.  They have been huge supporters of the film project from the start and we thank them for their help!
